My surgeon Dr. K M Kapoor was excellent, caring and had exceptional ability to listen to all my queries and concerns. The nursing staff was very courteous and caring. The hospital had state of the art facilities. Recover Discover has an excellent system of handling patient queries and co-ordination with their affiliate hospitals. Atul Bahl was always available to answer all my questions.

I visited India in January 2008 for a Gastric Bypass procedure. My surgery was performed at the Wockhardt hospital in Mumbai. My surgeon Dr. Ramen Goel was excellent as was the nursing and support staff at the hospital. Wockhardt Hospital has very good and modern facilities.

Our stay at Wockhardt Hospital was excellent. Not only were all of my needs met, but also the needs of my husband who was traveling with me. The doctors and nurses were phenomenal, and I was always in good hands. All of our arrangements were made in advance by Recover Discover, so once we arrived in Mumbai, we did not have to worry about a thing. Recover Discover always had an associate available to answer any of my questions regarding my medical procedure and my travel arrangements. They even met me at the airport to welcome me to India. The care I received in India was much more "sincere" than the care I receive in the United States. I would recommend travel to India to anyone who may need medical care and does not have the money or the insurance coverage to have it done in the United States. We probably saved over $30,000. Language was never a barrier and the people were very warm and hospitable. A very positive experience!

This is a little difficult for me. Just at the moment I can't think of one 'downside' to the treatment. I've had here. Medical staff (Doctors, Nurses and Ancillary staff) did an excellent job and as I write this I am confident that the trip back to England and the containing physiotherapy will yield results. I came here because the NHS was non-responsive and I was not prepared to allow one bad hip to ruin the rest of the quality of my life.

I specially comment on Dr. Raju Vaishya who even though the first surgery proved problematic swing rapidly into action to solve all problem. He is caring, informative and obviously skillful. I have confidence in an ultimate return to fitness and quality of life.
